an ICU nurse in burnout mode, so my outlet is art. Im impatient and impulsive which fits photography, and mixed media well. Constantly doing things my way in the subjective world of visual modification.
Hues from natural lighting are what I prefer, whether with my digital SLR, or my phone, ABSOLUTELY NO FLASHES. I like to use my phone most. I love the instant gratification from the filters. post production tweaking is what I get lost in. whether digitally or physically with my ever so weathering touch. Mixed media styles that inspire me are, steam-punk, grunge, usually dark with light undertones I have huge collection of authentic and digital vintage ephemera, layering and placing what is revealing to my eye. I love tiney and have a decent collection of ATC's that I have put together. Have not done any scrap-booking, but for a little while I taught scrap-booking technique classes. Again I dint finish big projects I have a desk full of unfinished work, so scrap booking is out of the questions for me. Many times I don't even let the paint dry, but that is how i roll, and it usually works in my advantage 95% of teh time. (fingerprints add texture)
